Forty Years Of Hanna Barbera Cartoons

The masters of the small screen join their animated
pals in a looney drive down memory lane. Bill and Joe
are among friends from the Stone Age to
the Space Age with 18 famous Hanna-Barbera
characters.
This hand-painted limited edition
cel was designed by Iwao Takamoto and is signed by small
screen legends and creators Bill
Hanna and Joe Barbera.
After their remarkable and successful career with MGM,
winning an unprecedented 7 Academy Awards for their Tom &
Jerry shorts, Bill and Joe founded the Hanna-Barbera Studio
in 1957 in the old Charlie Chaplin Studios in Hollywood.
Their television success began with the December 14, 1957
premiere of The Ruff and Reddy Show, followed by the
Huckleberry Hound Show in 1958 and then the premiere in
1960 of the stone age hit The Flintstones. The popularity
of space age events and UFO's at the time inspired the
studio to create another family situation...but in the
future...whith the premiere of The Jetsons in 1962.
