My Stars!

[Bugs]

The incredible and faithful recreation of color and detail is the hallmark of this unique process, mimicking even the subtly of texture from the original watercolor painting by Chuck Jones. Inspired by the line drawing for one of Jones's earliest limited editions entitled 'Bugs & Gossamer Manicure', this edition shows every minute detail of his original painting. Each work of art is hand signed by Chuck Jones. Edition Size 250.

How Important are Signatures On Artwork
Although a signature is not the only measure of value for a piece of animation art, it is definitely a bonus when available. It is unusual to find signatures on animation artwork produced prior to the 1970's. Production art rarely carried any identification other than production or scene numbers. Over the years, as collectors became interested in the art, studio animation artists and directors became well-known figures.
