This hand-painted cel, inspired by Sequence 14.1, Scene 15.10 depicts the first meeting between Kenai, a young man who has magically been transformed into a bear, and the irrepressible bear cub named Koda, after Kenai is caught in a snare trap set by hunters. Kenai is about to embark on an adventure in which he learns to see things through the eyes of another creature, and discover the meaning of brotherhood through his friendship with Koda. The background is a fine art Lithograph featuring the rich and wonderful image conveyed by the actual production backgrounds. The hand-inked and hand-painted cel overlays the background and features Kenai and Koda.

Inspired by the art created for the Walt Disney Studios 2003 film, this edition was produced at the Walt Disney Ink and Paint Department. This hand-inked and hand-painted Limited Edition Cel was created by carefully consulting the original animation drawings that were used in the production of the animated feature.
